The Wandong & Heathcote Junction Community Centre is available for hire for meetings, activities, children’s birthday parties, weddings, family events and more!

This facility offers two large rooms both carpeted, great to have a children’s play area with adults separate, fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave and stove, toilets & showers including disabled facilities, fully heated and air-conditioned, plus tables and chairs for up to 100 people are included in the hire price.

There is an outside fully child proof fenced and paved area with play equipment perfect for children’s parties. Plus electric BBQ’s.

We also have a fully furnished Private Office with sink and separate heating which can be secured. This is for hire either on a casual or permanent basis.

Insurance

$35 per booking if Certificate of Currency for Public Liability of $5m is not supplied.

Cleaning

The HIRER may choose to have the center cleaned after the event; costs will be taken from the Bond at $40 per hour before refund. Please arrange prior to booking with Booking Officer. Where the HIRER chooses to clean the centre Bond will not be returned until the Booking Officer is satisfied the cleaning is acceptable. Where the cleaning fails to satisfy the Booking Officer a further charge for cleaning will be taken from the Bond at $40 per hour. Where a Bond is not charged the HIRER agrees to clean the center to a satisfactory standard. If this does not occur a charge may be made to the HIRER. Before and after photos will be taken by the Committee to verify any claims of misuse.
